Park St, The Triangle and Whiteladies Rd

This area is very popular for both shopping and nightlife. Whiteladies Rd, also known as the Golden Mile, is also a popular area for students due to its unlimited amount of bars, clubs and restaurants, making it a buzzing, lively place and home to many student properties.

West Bristol: Clifton Village, Redland and Kingsdown

Just north of the Triangle is Cifton Village, thought by many to be the best address in the city, with a great selection of boutique clothing and lifestyle stores, cosy cafes and restaurants. Brunel's Clifton Suspension Bridge is an absolute must for great views of the city. Here you can find Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian architecture and a variety of flats and houses. Nearby you will find leafy Cotham, Redland, Kingsdown and St.Andrews where victorian houses are extremely popular with young professionals.

Gloucester Rd, Bishopston, Horfield

Also slightly further from the City Centre are the family victorian terraces of Bishopston and Horfield. Here you will find a vibrant community with plenty of street art and some of the most affordable housing in Bristol.

Gloucester Rd is reputed to be home of the longest stretch of independent shops in Europe. It's cosmopolitan and cool and it harbours the vast majority of Bristol's most creatively active individuals and groups. There are plenty of cafes to visit during the day and some great pubs and music venues to frequent at night.
